+ This role is a member of the Delivery Transformation Office & Organizational Change Management team within the Information Technology Division. As a member of this team, you will be part of a multi-year technology transformation program where we are focused on transforming the American Airlines IT organization in many ways, anchored by our corporate vision and mission. Across six workstreams, we are driving resiliency in delivery, excellence in engineering, and modernizing our technology.
+ Your role in support of this journey is critical to the progress and overall success of the program, driven by your passion for data, analytical review, and visualization through collaboration with key stakeholders making strategic decisions that align to our labor transformation enabling a globalized workforce to have new roles, responsibilities and tiles across IT.
**What you'll do**

Tapping into a variety of challenging datasets and delivering insights to strategically support leaders and team members of all levels by:
+ Working with cross functional teams and IT leaders to identify business opportunities and frame the analytics problem
+ Obtaining, manipulating, cleaning, and analyzing structured and unstructured data from diverse sources
+ Deploying models as proofs of concept or fully productionized implementations
+ Monitoring and maintaining deployed models to ensure continued effectiveness
+ Quantifying business impacts and communicating actionable recommendations with business partners to drive informed decisions
+ Promoting data driven decision making across the company by delivering workshops and tutorials
**All you'll need for success**
**Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience**
+ Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Engineering, etc.)
+ 2 years practical experience with data extraction, cleaning, and analysis
+ Familiarity with SQL and visualization software, e.g., Tableau, Power BI
**Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience**
+ Experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, R, Java)
**Skills, Licenses & Certifications**
+ Ability to build and maintain relationships across cross-functional teams and leaders
+ Passion for learning and development
+ Interest in teaching and coaching others, and leading workshops and tutorials
+ Experience with Microsoft’s Suite of Applications including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
+ Experience with PowerBI or similar data visualization tools preferred
