Credence is seeking an Associate API Developer to join its growing Organization to support a key client – the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). This position is based out of Dayton, OH..

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below Develop Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) based on requirements developed by Business Analysts.Work closely with customer to assess various requirements to develop APIs. Track requirements and APIs through development process.Will perform on tasks following Agile methodology.Will follow SDLC guidance and Govt. processes.Work directly with Senior Developers to develop and implement software products/APIs.Will be required to complete minimum CompTIA A+ certification within 30 days of start.Will be required to go through training and attain MuleSoft certification within 60 days.

 

Education, Requirements and Qualifications US Citizenship with ability to obtain a secret clearance is requiredBS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or related discipline is required.

Good understanding of complete SDLC processes.

Hands on experience in SQL, HTML, GIT.

Good experience and understanding on various technologies such as Java, SOAP, REST API, JSON, Web Based API in the building of software applications.

Experience working low-code application development environments a plus.

1-2 years total work experience

 

Nice to have:

 

Experience developing APIs.

Experience in MuleSoft platform or any related API development environment.

Experience with Jenkins CI/CD.

Familiarity with ServiceNow Change Management process.

Current Secret government clearance, or ability to obtain clearance.
