Associate Developer – Salesforce B2B
Location: Bangalore - India
General Purpose
We are looking to hire Associate Developer – Salesforce B2B who will play a vital role at MillerKnoll. We are looking for a proactive individual who can help us implement Salesforce B2B in our organization. Our Salesforce user experience is of great importance to us, therefore, the Salesforce B2B developer should enjoy all aspects of B2B Commerce and designing solutions with user satisfaction as a priority.
This role transcends organizational and geographical boundaries as it aims at supporting and enabling the various divisions of the Herman Miller business across the globe. The ideal candidate should understand the software development lifecycle and use agile methodology to design, develop, test, and implement solutions that deliver on end-user needs.
Responsibilities
•Build B2B Commerce solutions including Catalog, Pricing, Promotions, Cart, Search, Product Recommendations, Inventory management, Order management through configuration.
•Setup, build, and maintain Salesforce Communities/Experience sites.
•Technical design and implementation using CPQ.
•Use Salesforce APIs/MuleSoft to integrate with other systems used in the organization.
•Collaborating with Salesforce team to validate business requirements and any considerations (security, scalability, limits).
•Adhere to Salesforce best practices and governor limits.
•Document solutions for future reference and incident deflection.
•Applies problem solving skills and executes solutions to problems independently.
•Assist Product Owners in defining new features and translating technical requirements.
•Clearly communicate status and open issues to development team and leads.
•Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.
•Prototype and develop new ideas and participate in all parts of the lifecycle from research to release.
•Contribute to building a digital culture based on collaboration, inclusion, support, and constant improvement.
•Review the work of fellow engineers in a collegial fashion to ensure code quality and consistency.
•Participate in Communities of Practice in areas of development in which you have particular interest.
Requirements
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
•Salesforce B2B (/Sales cloud) product knowledge and at least 3-4 years of Salesforce development experience.
•Proficient with CPQ, CMS, Field Service Lightning, Order Management, Billing and the Salesforce development lifecycle.
•Experience implementing and developing in Apex, LWC, and Visualforce.
•General web development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
•Ability to write, interpret, and critique technical specifications.
•Ability to gather requirements and present solutions to stakeholders.
•Able to work independently.
•Able to collaborate and communicate effectively with business stakeholders / other Salesforce team members.
•Familiarity with Headless commerce, GA and MuleSoft Integration.
•Drive change, including programs that improve developer productivity and reduce time to market.
•Aptitude to independently learn new technologies.
•Superior ability to identify and resolve complex problems.
•Well versed with unit testing & debugging techniques.
•Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, possess good analytical and problem-solving skills and function well in a self-directed, team-oriented environment.
•Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Strong analysis skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
•Experience working on an Agile development team preferably using SCRUM.
•Active participation through all phases of the development lifecycle.
•Strong organizational skills to deal with a varied workload and be responsive to the needs of the business
•Understands the necessity of and contributes to efficient coding standards
•Demonstrate ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) around all key technical decisions during project delivery.
•Ability to effectively use office automation, communication, software and tools currently used in the HMI office environment.
•Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position with or without supervision
•This role will work in the shift timings of 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. or 2:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M. The employees could be requested to work in a different shift on rare occasions to support the business during a critical issue or for any releases/migrations that maybe scheduled.
Desirable:
•Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist, Salesforce Field Service Lightning Consultant, Experience Cloud Consultant.
•Competency in other languages / development (JavaScript, SQL, REST/SOAP-based web services. etc).
•Demonstrates continued personal/professional development.
•Active in the Salesforce community.

•Locally reporting to Team lead and IT manager in India
•Matrix reporting to WTL in US
