About this job
As Associate Architect, Data & Analytics focused on marketing data, you will configure and operate enterprise digital marketing ecosystems from Adobe, Google and other digital marketing product stacks. You will also oversee iCrossing’s clients in this specialized, business-critical arena.
The Digital Data and Analytics team is responsible for generating insights from a variety of digital marketing initiatives, including websites (desktop & mobile), social media, mobile apps, email, customer relationship management databases, coupons, eCommerce platforms, and sweepstakes. The Digital Data and Analytics team is involved in most digital client engagements. The areas of focus include Digital Measurement, Data Engineering, and Data Science involving 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party customer and sales data. In addition to working on high visibility accounts and across many digital channels, the role may need to collaborate with our internal sales, account management, creative, strategy, tech, database, and project management teams whenever the need arises. Finally, iCrossing is uniquely positioned with a large 1st party data repository and the Associate Architect will be leading intellectual property development to unlock the potential as a service offering.
This full-time role requires 2 days per week in the office (Tuesday & Wednesday).
What you will be doing in this role
Lead teams and individual contribution to implementing and maintaining digital marketing technologies, such as Adobe (Target, Analytics, Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Adobe Data Collection/Launch), Google (Analytics, Tag Manager), Ensighten Tag Manager including configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting. Lead teams and individual contribution for data modeling specifically building schemas in AEP Lead teams and individual contribution implementing and migrating Adobe Analytics from using AppMeasurement.js to using Web SDK the systems mentioned above Develop custom code to support business use-cases, in languages such as Javascript, Python, SQL and other product-specific languages Develop front end HTML, CSS & Javascript code to support marketing measurement initiatives. Lead and mentor teams and clients about measurement and tracking concepts for media and site analytics programs Support reporting and dashboarding needs using Excel, Paid Media platform interfaces, or analytics tools Guide teams and clients in best practices for tracking and tagging concepts including hands on implementation within various tag management systemsWho you are
Have a computer Science degree or at least 3 years’ experience as a developer Demonstrated understanding of: HTML5, CSS and JavaScript for front end development at least one other programming language, ideally Python or Java SQL Demonstrated platform experience with Adobe and Google including tag management implementation Professional Services (Consulting, Agency, or System Integrator) preferred Client Facing / Strong Communication Demonstrated team leadership Ability to learn measurement reporting tools and create custom reporting templates quickly Self-starter and independent team member. You are the sort of person who looks at a situation, assesses what needs to be done, and does it. You apply whatever skills you have to the task and you do all this without needing to be told. Experience with creating reports on large datasets Experience moving and transforming data between systems
