Your focus will be the area of Associate Architect SAP Technical and you will be member of LS ERP CoE team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP ABAP, S/4HANA, and integration technologies and will play a key role in defining technical strategies, ensuring best practices, and driving innovation.

Your Role:

Technical Architecture & Design:

Define and implement SAP ABAP technical architecture, design patterns, and coding standards.Solution review end-to-end solution and development for S/4HANA, ECC, and cloud-based integrations.Ensure system scalability, performance, and security in SAP developments.

ABAP Development & Customization:

Provide technical leadership in Object-Oriented ABAP, CDS Views, AMDP, and HANA-specific enhancements.Guide delivery teams in developing RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) objects efficiently.Optimize existing ABAP code for performance tuning and best practices.

Integration & Modern SAP Technologies:

Architect SAP and third-party system integrations using OData, REST/SOAP Web Services, BAPIs, RFCs, and IDOCs.Work with SAP PI/PO, SAP Gateway, and BTP (Business Technology Platform) for seamless integrations.Drive adoption of SAP Fiori/UI5, RAP (Restful Application Programming), and CAP (Cloud Application Programming) models.

Collaboration:

Act as a technical mentor for ABAP developers and review technical designs.Work closely with functional teams, business stakeholders, and project managers to align technical solutions with business needs.Ensure compliance with SAP best practices, governance policies, and security standards.

S/4HANA & Digital Transformation:

S/4HANA migration projects, including custom code remediation and adaptation of new data models.Promote use of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and cloud-based solutions.

Documentation & Best Practices:

Define and maintain technical documentation, coding guidelines, and development standards.Conduct code reviews, training sessions, and workshops for continuous improvement.

Who You Are:

10+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development and architecture.Expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP (OOP), CDS Views, AMDP, and HANA-native development.Strong hands-on experience with RICEF, Enhancements, BADI, BAPI, and User Exits.Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori/UI5, OData, and REST/SOAP APIs.Experience with SAP Cloud Platform (BTP), CAP, RAP, and event-driven architectures.Strong background in performance tuning, debugging, and troubleshooting.Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines for SAP development.Excellent communication, and stakeholder management skills.

SAP Certified Development Specialist – ABAP for SAP HANASAP Certified Technology Architect – SAP S/4HANASAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) Certification
