Find your future with us. **Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS)** is currently seeking an **Associate Structural Analysis Engineer** to join the Air Dominance Armament and Mechanisms Team located in **Berkeley, MO** . This position will focus on supporting the BDS business organization working on integrating new stores onto both the F-15 and F/A-18 Platform and supporting current Pylon, Gun System, and Missile Launcher Production. **Position Responsibilities:** + Perform basic structural analysis using well defined analysis tools to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance + Support test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications + Define and document certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied + Support in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements + Work under general supervision **This position is expected to be 100% on site. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.** **This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.** **Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):** + Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science + 2+ years of working experience with a Bachelor’s OR a Master’s degree **Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):** + Ability to develop and review technical reports and present results + Proficient utilizing Microsoft Office Software + Knowledge and experience with fixed wing military aircraft platforms + Experience with structural analysis software such as Abacus, NASTRAN, and StressCheck + Ability to understand and write engineering reports based on analysis results, test findings, and maintenance reports + Experience working in a diverse Integrated Product Team (IPT) + Strong oral and written communications skills + Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical personnel at all organization levels including suppliers and customers **Typical Education/Experience:** Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master).
