JOB DESCRIPTION:
POSITION SUMMARY
Provides guidance and support on organizational legal issues. Write briefs and legal opinions, consult with clients and conduct interviews with persons and entities involved in legal cases. May be responsible for resolving disputes relating to contracts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Writes, reviews, and advises on legal contracts and agreements.
· Represents the organization in legal matters.
· Researches and analyzes laws and regulations for clients.
· Gathers evidence to formulate defense or to initiate legal actions. Represents clients in court when needed.
· Negotiating and drafting customer and vendor agreements.
· Coordinating with internal and external experts, including external counsel.
· Acting as an advisor to the leadership team.
· Establishing scalable contracting processes and templates.
· Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
JD required.
Experience:
0 to 2 years of experience.
Certification/Licensure:
Must be licensed in one of our operating states. (TN, IN, IL, FL or NC)
