Overview Job Purpose The purpose of this role is to support the office location in advising and supporting a wide range of legal matters that arise with a U.S.-based company maintaining global operations. Practice areas include: privacy and Artificial Intelligence (AI) law compliance, corporate governance, legal incident response, legal inquiries, data governance and basic contract negotiations. Responsibilities Corporate governance Legal incident response management, Drafting of privacy and AI policy documents and procedures to comply with relevant laws and regulations, Perform general legal contract needs, liaise with outside counsel on various legal matters, Assist in the preparation and review of external requests for information, Research and advise on relevant legal issues, when necessary, Ensure that advice provided is consistent with the relevant regulatory requirements and ICE policies, Liaise with ICE business areas and provide advice and assistance as requirements might arise, To be an enthusiastic and professional member of the legal department. Knowledge and Experience Licensed attorney in any US state. Position is suitable for 0 to 5 years of experience. Excellent communication skills are key; ability to attentively listen, actively engage, and concisely and effectively communicate in oral and written form. A strong work ethic and action-oriented interest in taking on increased levels of responsibility. Ability to work autonomously and to adapt effectively in frequently changing working environments.
