Description An esteemed midsize Los Angeles-based firm is in search of a Litigation Associate to contribute to its developing team. You'll find this role optimally suited for a proactive and innovative mind, ready to assist the litigation division and work comprehensively with well-versed attorneys regarding top-tier business law subjects. Areas of focus will encompass M& A, corporate law, entertainment, real estate, contracts, intellectual property, trademark, and copyright law. Key Details of the Position: + Location: The position is based in Los Angeles, CA. in-office work is favored but a blend of on and offsite work is negotiable. + Work Hours: Basic operational hours are from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. + Practice Area: Open to both plaintiff and defense cases, with a focus on business law issues. + Experience Level: Attorneys with 3-5+ years of experience who have a mid to senior-level associate status are encouraged to apply. Particularly, candidates from high-ranking schools with exceptional writing competencies are preferred. \ + Bar Admission: Applicants must be authorized to practice in California. Requirements Duties & Responsibilities: + Contribute to litigation matters in partnership with senior attorneys, in both state and federal courts. + Undertake responsibilities across a diverse array of top-tier business law practice fields. These will include M& A, corporate transactions, entertainment, real estate, intellectual property, etc. + Compose pleadings, motions, legal documents, and commercial contracts. + Contribute to case strategy dialogues regularly, and also engage in trial preparations.
