Under the direct supervision of the Manager of Clinical Engineering, the Biomedical Equipment Technician I is responsible to provide scheduled maintenance, minor repairs and electrical safety inspections on general patient care medical equipment. Work assigned is moderate in difficulty with general training. Services are performed on, but not limited to, infusion devices, vital signs monitors, compression units and other like devices at multiple locations within Providence.

Required Qualifications:
Associate's Degree Biomedical Technology or Electronics Technology, military or technical school certificate. upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. Preferred Qualifications:
