The Associate Biomedical Technician is responsible for installation, electrical safety inspections, periodic maintenance, performance testing and major and minor repairs ofmedical equipment in assigned areas ofthe hospital, as well as external/retail clients. TheAssociateBiomedicalTechnicianoperatessophisticatedtest equipmentandinstrumentationfor inspections, performance tests, and periodic maintenance/repairs ofmedical equipment. The testing data acquired from said testing is analyzed and may be prepared for reports.

Required qualifications:

Preferred qualifications:  

Associate's Degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology. Or Coursework/Training: Electronics Technology, Military or Technical Training. 1 year Experience in repair of biomedical equipment or equivalent field
