**Position Summary:**
The Associate Brand Manager (ABM) is the project integrator responsible for supporting/leading key initiatives necessary to deliver annual financial/marketplace targets for the Annual Operating Plan (AOP). Develops and executes Advertising and Promotional (A&P) plans. Analyzes all elements of the P&L and makes suggestions to team to achieve financial/marketplace outcomes. Plays a meaningful role in the delivery of brand’s P&L goals and supports execution of strategies to achieve financial/marketplace outcomes. Tracks brand(s) budgets based on AOP.
The ABM will also support the development of the short-term and long-term innovation pipeline (Renovations, Line Extensions, etc.). Assists with the innovation planning process by translating strategic consumer insights into meaningful innovation plans. Leads the launch of new innovations with opportunities to present to the Leadership Team.

**Responsibilities: ** _ _ ** **
**60% Planning, Execution and P&L Management:**
+ Participate in building the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for brand and strategic planning process.
+ Support revenue growth management activities: Integrated Margin Management/Pricing, Trade Efficiency Support and MAPS(Merchandising, Assortment, Pricing & Shelving).
+ Anticipate future business needs and proactively gain alignment with cross functional partners.
+ Deliver annual financial targets for assigned brands/portfolio(s). Support and deliver on all lines of the P&L (volume, Net Sales, COGS, Gross Profit, A&P). Proactively recommend corrective action if necessary.
+ Ensure Brand initiatives are consistent with agreed upon goals, priorities, strategies.
+ Drive revenue growth management activities via integrated Margin Management, Cost Reduction initiatives and Pricing recommendations.
+ Leverage demand centered insights and jobs theory for brand(s).
+ Manage Brand equity (language, vision, strategy).
+ Good understanding and use of consumer insights and competitive analysis.
+ Create and execute comprehensive marketing activation plans.
+ Ensure effectiveness of working relationship with Commercial Strategy Management Team (CSM) to ensure that go-to-market strategy and trade spend effectiveness is being followed and executed.
+ Work with CSM on the commercialization of innovations and ensure Sales have all the tools required (sell sheets, consumer support info, etc.) for successful execution.
+ Support Commerce Marketing team (Shopper) in the execution of the customer programs.
**20% Innovation Management:**
+ Support innovation projects through gate process (includes renovation, new products and pack size opportunities) from identifying the idea to commercializing and executing in market, all rooted in consumer insights, brand equity understanding, category, brand, geographic dynamics and competitive analysis.
+ Support the development and execution of strategic innovation plans, with a focus on short term opportunities, to drive sales and revenue objectives of organization.
+ Leverage U.S. led innovation for Canadian brand expansion & mega brand development.
+ Identify, evaluate & validate Canadian opportunities for line extensions, pack size opportunities and renovations on branded portfolios that are driven by insights and drive incremental long-term growth to the business across different channels.
+ Work closely with CSM team to ensure opportunities are explored on different pack sizes to help growth and expand across different channels beyond retail (C&G, Foodservice, eComm, etc.)
+ Monitor performance of new product launches with post launch reviews, build insights and translate into an action plan.
**10% - Strengthen & Build Brand Management Process**
+ Build organizational technical capabilities by providing day-to-day coaching and mentoring to cross-functional team and external partners.
+ Ensure successful presentation, comprehension and integration of AOP, strategic plans, business reviews, and briefs to senior leadership team or business partners.
+ Build strong relationships with US, International and Canadian innovation teams.
+ Work closely with US and International innovation team members to share learnings and identify potential synergies.
+ Strengthen and continually build strong innovation credibility/profile within the organization.
**10% - Admin Support**
+ Manage A&P spending to ensure spend is within specified budget(s).
+ Monitor brand(s) budget, innovation and track associated expenses in SIFT; reconciling invoices against approved projects.
+ Ensure all projects are up to date in Clarizen.
+ Assist team with process enhancement projects, as required.
**Potential Career Progression: **
+ Promotional opportunities within the Marketing organization.
+ Lateral career opportunities to another Brand portfolios and categories, Commerce/Shopper Marketing, Demand Science, or across cross-functional teams.
**Qualifications, Education & Experience:**
+ At least 3 years of marketing experience, in consumer-packaged goods industry.
+ Bachelor’s Degree required.
+ Experience in developing and executing marketing programs, brief writing, and managing P&L’s.
+ Proven ability to deliver initiatives that have contributed significant gains in the capture of market share, revenue and volume growth, and process efficiencies.
+ Ability to make sound business decisions that balance a variety of factors in a complex operating environment and ultimately achieveoptimal outcomes.
+ Good strategic and analytic capabilities. Comfortable utilizing data to support business decisions.
+ Experience working with a cross functional team including sales, finance, research, and operations.
+ Demonstrated organizational, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) and excellent project management skills.
+ Team player that thrives in both group and individual projects.

**Compensation:**
Pay Range:$61,000-$90,000
_The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees._
