We are looking for an Associate Broker, Middle Market to join our team! As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by supporting the Middle Market brokers as we deliver innovative and effective solutions as part of our Middle Market Broking business group within Aon. In addition, this role will provide administrative and secretarial support duties for Middle Market Team Leaders. This position has access to and regularly works with information that is sensitive, highly confidential, and strategic in nature and the successful applicant must constantly display high levels of integrity while staying organized and balancing many priorities together. This is a hybrid role working from our Miami, FL office. What the day will look like This individual will market new and renewal business, manage all aspects of placements from initial market selection through to policy delivery to the client. They will ensure that placements are handled correctly and on time, while developing productive business relationships with key insurance underwriters and Aon local office teams. Identifying and analyzing prospect and client exposures. Coordinating activities with other internal units to meet customer needs. Presenting to local account executives, participating in RFPs, client meetings, and conference calls. Acting as a trusted advisor to executive-level clients in broking, designing, selling, and servicing complex accounts. Planning, scheduling, resourcing, and executing large projects/programs. Frequently interacting with senior-level colleagues and clients, involving matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or clients and the company. Skills and experience that will lead to success Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, exceptional organizational skills, ability to make and communicate difficult decisions. Open to 0-3+ years of insurance brokerage and/or underwriting experience Effective working knowledge of carrier underwriting practices & processes. Proven leadership skills in working with teams and ability to work with clients and to successfully exceed client expectations. Proven client facing skills including effective presentations & communications. Proven organization and ability to work with others. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at various levels. Successfully operates in a fast-paced driven environment that requires the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Must maintain appropriate broker’s license. Pay Transparency Laws: The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $70,000 to $88,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
