The Associate Business Analyst (ABA) works with consultants, supervisor/manager in India/U.S. to manage projects related to client data loading into various property tax systems. The ABA will perform data analysis, manipulation, reconciliation, reporting, within a prescribed timeframe. This role involves working on various sizes and types of data, developing procedures as required and effectively communicating to management both in India and the U.S..Duties and Responsibilities:
· Follows all applicable security policies regarding client’s data and documentation.
· Assists in the acquisition, extraction, and transfer of client data.
· Assists in reconciling and analyzing of client data and perform reconciliation of client data using Microsoft® Excel, Microsoft® Access, and other data tools.
· Assist in the preparation of documentation of the data project.
· Attend and actively participate in meetings, offering ideas, insights, and recommendations towards process improvements, which will enable team to improve its overall efficiency
· Ensure adherence to Service Line Agreement & Quality work product is delivered by adhering to all the Quality Assurance & control measures laid out without any deviation.
· Communicate with our stakeholders to address any queries that they have / to let them know the status of the projects
· Work under minimum supervision post training and comply with established procedures (or) as directed by Analysts, Supervisor or Reporting Manager
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
· Masters (or) Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Taxation
· Candidate with 0 to 2 years prior Experience in Finance/Accounting/Tax related background can apply
Skills Required:
· To perform this job candidate should have a basic understanding of Tax and Accounting.
· Candidate should have excellent Basic to Intermediate level knowledge on MS Office Word, Excel, Access & Outlook.
· Internet navigation and research skills to perform the job successfully.
· High attention to detail, ability to meet strict deadlines and good communication skills is critical.
· Sound concepts and good analytical & problem-solving abilities
· Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity.
· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
· The current work hours are 2:00 PM IST to 11:00 PM IST, Shift change is anticipated depending on US work hours/time zone as business need. Candidate should be willing to work in any shift. Required to do additional work hours based on the business priorities.
· Position requires regular interaction with Co-workers, US teams via email and phone calls.
