Conducts analysis through research, gathering and interpretation of data, development of alternatives and recommendations. Analyses include, but are not limited to, feasibility studies, cost/benefit analysis, trending/forecasting, financial analysis, budget analysis and reporting. Ensures compliance with federal government and Information Security Management compliance programs. Assists with desktop and end user support for networking and communication devices.
Responsibilities Assist in providing ISO 27001 related training and communication of changes in policies and procedures. Maintain ISO 27001 related data, documentation, process flows, including reconciliation with other data sources and performing and/or reconciling with field inventories. Provide documentation and evidence in accordance with PacifiCorp procedures to ensure compliance with all WECC, NERC, and ISO 27001 protection standards. Assist with desktop and end user support with software, hardware, networking, and communication devices. Conduct analysis through research, gathering, and interpretation of data. Assist with the audit of business system data, examine actuals against targets, forecast performance, Report on performance and develop alternatives and recommendations for improvement to management. Translate business requirements to technical requirements. Effectively communicate the meaning of standard to moderately complex reports and drivers of position changes. Consult with internal and external customers which may be sensitive in nature Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other applicable field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of data/information gathering, analysis, modeling, and interpretation. General understanding of ISO 27001 – Information Security Management Systems best practices for data security requirements and control structures. Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL reporting, Microsoft operating systems (Windows 7+, Windows Server 2008+), Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft Active Directory Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local governmental laws and regulations. Communication and interpersonal skills including ability to consult with internal and external customers regarding matters/issues which may be sensitive in nature. Proficient with the use of personal computers including spreadsheet, database, word processing, and presentation applications to gather, analyze, and model information. Ability to work with all levels of an organization including people with different styles and backgrounds; ability to work as a member of a team. Willingness to work in a highly dynamic and fast paced environment. Preferences Understand process control systems integration with experience in distributed control systems, HMI, PLC, Process Automation, OPC, and PI. Familiarity with Cisco router, switch, and firewall hardware, and network operation systems (Cisco IOS), and Cisco ACS. Familiarity with control systems software from Emerson, Honeywell, Siemens, GE, Toshiba, and Rockwell Automation. Experience in power generation industry and/or power generation control systems.
