About the Opportunity

DMI is currently seeking to hire a Associate Capture Manager responsible for leading strategic program capture, supporting business development efforts and supporting proposal development efforts for DMI.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Capture Support:  Assist the Capture Manager in identifying and pursuing federal contracting opportunities in the IT services space, focusing on both new business and recompete opportunities.Opportunity Qualification:  Analyze and assess federal opportunities to determine the competitive landscape, customer needs, and potential for success. Help prioritize pursuits based on strategic alignment, win probability, and revenue potential.Proposal Development Support:  Work closely with the proposal team to develop win strategies, proposal outlines, and themes for responses to RFPs, RFQs, and other procurement vehicles. Assist with the development of technical and pricing proposals as needed.Customer Engagement: Assist with managing customer relationships, building rapport with key stakeholders, and positioning the company as a trusted partner in the federal IT services market.Market Intelligence:  Stay informed of key federal IT services trends, competitive intelligence, and changes in government procurement policies. Share relevant market information with the business development team.Teaming and Partnerships:  Support the identification of potential teaming partners and subcontractors for federal opportunities. Participate in alliance-building efforts and identify synergies with other organizations.Proposal Review:  Support the review of proposals and ensure they meet client requirements, compliance standards, and capture objectives. Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience:  

A./B.S. Degree2+ years experience as a Proposal CoordinatorMinimum of 4 years of Government Contracting industry experience with a minimum of 1 year in proposal management

Required and Desired Skills/Certifications: 

Experienced in developing responses to solicitations in a similar organization servicing Federal GovernmentAssociation for Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) Certification

Additional Requirements:

Requires little to no direction or guidance to identify, structure and articulate a winning approach for solicitation responsesExperienced in assessing technical, financial, schedule, or other associated risks with solicitationsAbility to ask intelligent questions as it pertains to solutions and customer requirementsA dynamic, hands-on leader capable of instilling passion to win, excellence, adherence to deadlines, mentor the team and drive accountability and successEffective communication skills both written and verbal with stress on articulating and writing effectivelyProficient in Microsoft Office tools including Microsoft 365 tools and services, TEAMS, Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPointExperience collaborating with capture managers to understand customer challenges and priorities and develop compelling win themesExperience conducting color reviews and gathering feedback from executive leadershipExperienced in developing presentations for oral presentations to governmentProven ability to work under pressure, delivering high quality work consistently against tight deadlinesUnderstanding of the various types of contracts (e.g., Single versus Multi-Award, GWACs, IDIQ TO, CPFF. FFP, Incentive Fee, etc.).Familiar and conversant in a broad range of topics related to Information Technology support services.
