Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) is looking for a highly motivated, analytically-minded professional to join its Kroger Category Management team.
The Associate Manager, Category Management will work cross-functionally with our Category Manager and Kroger sales team to leverage syndicated and point of sale (POS) data in order to optimize assortment, shelving, pricing, and promotion with the goal of maximizing profit and shopper satisfaction. Candidates must be able to employ our Category Management tools in appropriate situations to grow distribution, space, and promotion frequency (JDA Prospace, IRI Household Panel & POS, Market 6, 84.51 Stratum, Numerator and RichMix). The ideal candidate will have a high level of comfort communicating and translating key information and analyzing data while working in a fast-paced environment.
This role is located Cincinnati, OH with up to 25% travel.
Responsibilities
Utilize insights to deliver retailer-centric strategy for growth on the carbonated soft drink (CSD) category with tactical recommendations while mitigating riskDevelop relationship with retail buyers by providing support, analysis and insightsCreate fact-based selling stories to drive insight into action Develop and implement monthly retail category scorecards (new item tracking, pricing analysis, distribution, and promotion)Interpret data utilizing best in class tools such as Market 6, 84.51 Stratum, IRI POS, Panel, JDA, Numerator and other industry toolsAssist the Category Manager with the KOMPASS process by leveraging JDA Space Planner and other applicable toolsCollaborate with cross functional teams (Sales, Insights, Omni Marketing, Allied Partners) to leverage syndicated data and shopper insights in order to drive value for Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) through space and assortment initiativesMaintain up-to-date knowledge of category management processes and applicationBuild and maintain long-term relationships with the Kroger internal Category Management teams through frequent contact, delivering actionable objective insights and sharing best practicesManage multiple competing priorities under demanding time constraints with a focus on driving results Requirements Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution Minimum 2 years’ experience in Category Management/Sales/Finance and/or Marketing analyzing data such as assortment selections, sales trends and market trendsMinimum 2 years’ experience using IRI, Nielsen Scantrack, or other syndicated data to provide value added insights to retailer and sales personnelMinimum 2 years’ experience using MS Office products such as PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel (e.g. pivot table creation, vlookup, filters) Company OverviewKeurig Dr Pepper (NASDAQ: KDP) is a modern beverage company with a bold vision built to deliver growth and opportunity.
