Job Duties:

As an Associate Category Manager you will support the wholesale purchasing team in the procurement of merchandise along with implementation and development of pricing and promotion strategies. This position will be trained to use programs, tools, and technology to support the wholesale purchasing team.

 

Responsibilities

Assist with purchase order management, including purchase order creation, adjustments, and confirmationAssist with implementing or developing systems to capture business operation informationAssist with evaluating, reviewing, and managing database resources and services across the organization while ensuring high levels of data qualityCollaborate with data coordinators within the data teamAssist with entry and management of critical system data and verifying accuracy of the dataAssist with analyzing, developing, and recommending store by store or companywide pricing structures for specific categoriesCo-management of specific item categories in relation to assortment and promotion strategyUse best practices in data analysis to develop actionable insights and recommendations for the current business operationsWork directly with business stakeholders to identify analytical requirementsEvaluate reporting requests to produce ad hoc data and standard reportsOther duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

Associate or Bachelor’s Degree2-4 years of retail experience
