We are proud to offer you our total rewards package which includes bonuses, healthcare, insurance benefits, retirement programs, wellness programs, as well as service and performance awards – not to mention various social and recreational activities, all of which are location specific. **What you will do:** + Support overall Category direction and ensure effective strategy development and execution for Category portfolio. + Partner and coordinate with, Divisional Procurement, Supplier Quality, Advanced Operations, Materials Management, Operations, Senior Leadership, Legal, and Compliance. + Obtain the best Quality, Service, and Value for products and services through effective bidding, negotiation, and supplier management. + Partner cross functionally to develop and implement Global Category Plans that include cost reductions initiatives, new product development, supply base and optimization and rationalization, quality improvement, risk assessment, contract negotiation, and may include responsibility for cross-divisional, group wide, and/or global strategies and initiatives. + Execute the development and implementation of strategies and goals for assigned commodities in support of overall divisional business objectives. + Develop, negotiate, and maintain contractual and business relationships with the senior management of key suppliers. + Lead sourcing analysis and selection process and performs cost analyses and make vs buy analyses as required. + Align on strategic investments for new technologies or capabilities externally at suppliers and internally with R&D or Business Development Teams. + **Financial Management:** Develop and manage budgets, conduct cost analysis, and utilize financial forecasting to optimize procurement spend and ensure alignment with organizational financial goals. Prepare and present financial reports and assess supplier financial health to ensure stability and compliance. + **Risk** **Management/Mitigation** : Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with procurement activities to ensure stability and compliance. Develop strategies to manage potential risks, implement risk assessment processes, and monitor ongoing risk factors to protect the organization's financial interests. **What you need:** + Bachelor’s Degree required - Master’s degree specialized in Strategic Sourcing Management or MBA with strong experience in Strategic Sourcing preferred + Minimum of 5 years of / Sourcing / Procurement Supply chain experience preferably in medical devices or other highly regulated environment. + Experience with world-class strategic sourcing & category management practices Stryker is a global leader in medical technologies and, together with its customers, is driven to make healthcare better.
