LocationThis is a full-time position and will be in one of our learning centers in the San Fernando Valley area.
Compensation & Benefits ($52,000 - $62,400/year)Compensation consists of:
- An hourly rate of $25 - $30/hour based upon experience (full-time: $52,000 - $62,400/annually) ($25/hour if less than 3 years of sales experience)

Schedule- Learning Centers are open Monday - Saturday
- Center Directors may choose to work an alternating schedule of Monday through Thursday, with alternating Fridays and Saturdays, or a five-day schedule of Tuesday through Saturday.
-Typical hours are 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM weekdays and 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Saturdays
Responsibilities- Maximize student enrollments
- Deliver parent conferences, tours, welcome conferences, and enrollment conferences
- Execute best marketing practices to increase buzz and awareness of Sylvan Learning in your community
- Deliver outstanding customer service to ensure parents and kids come back
- Manage your Center's performance, including revenue, expenses, and collections
- Oversee your center staff along with your Director of Education
- Develop, maintain, and grow relationships with teachers, educational specialists and other school administrators and parent/teacher organizations with the help of your educational director
- Recruit, train, and manage your Center team.
Qualifications and Requirements- A Bachelor's degree
- Two years of sales, marketing, and management experience with a strong focus on customer service (retail and hospitality experience is a plus). The ideal candidate will be able to show how they achieved results in their prior positions.
- Prior paid or volunteer experience working with children
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships
- Drive, ambition, and a strong work-ethic
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Ability to work within a team and lead others through the power of example, kindness, and humility
- Complete comfort and fluency working with computers and technology (Microsoft Office experience preferred)
- Tuberculosis clearance and DOJ Livescan background check
