The mission of the Information Technology Group (ITG) is to develop, implement and maintain technology-based services and solutions enabling OHSU to effectively manage information to accomplish its missions.

Function/Duties of Position

The ACHIO for Advanced Clinical Training, Learning Health System and Health Data Stewardship will report to the CHIO with important stakeholders being Chief Data Officer, Chief Research Information Officer, and Chief Medical Officer to ensure the seamless integration of Advanced EHR training, Clinical Data reporting and initiatives leveraging the OHSU LHS (Learning Health System) specifically designed to improve OHSU Health quality, clinical and safety outcomes.

Required Qualifications

Education: 

MD. Informatics formal training or experience

 

Experience: 

5-7 years experience in medical information technology research or clinical

Job Related Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

The Associate Chief Health Information Officer will be a physician with recent medical practice required.  Epic Physician Builder Certification with Analytics.  Extensive knowledge of Data structure and limitations in healthcare setting All are welcome Oregon Health & Science University values a diverse and culturally competent workforce.
