We are seeking a visionary and innovative Associate Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO) to join our team as a key leader overseeing all inpatient and outpatient nursing services at the Lennar Foundation Cancer Center and our brand new 73-bed hospital in Orange County California. (opening in late 2025)
As a dynamic member of the leadership team, the ACNO will work closely with the clinical and research partners to build and grow our newest Comprehensive Cancer Center.
As a successful candidate, you will:
Drive organizational strategy, quality, and safety to achieve targets/goals.Lead and have oversight of nursing practice, delivering high-quality patient care across inpatient and outpatient settings. Possess strong business and financial acumen and knowledge of nursing staffing and acuity models, management of productivity targets and nursing models of care.Be experienced with knowledge in Continuous/Process improvement.Drive collaboration skills and abilities to convene nursing, clinical and members of the healthcare team (at every level of the organization).Drive quality and safety improvement initiatives, elevating standards, and patient outcomes.Assist with developing and implementing patient care and professional practice standards.Support clinical research initiatives and foster partnerships with academic and research institutions.Provide leadership in workforce planning, ensuring a highly skilled and compassionate team.Qualifications
Your qualifications should include:
· 10 years in progressive nursing leadership at the senior level or at a Senior Director level role.
· National Nursing Certification in leadership
· Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
Preferred Qualifications:
· Cancer Care- preferably at an NCI Designated Comprehensive cancer center.
· Doctorate (PhD or DNP) in nursing or related field.
