Marsh Specialty – Associate Client Manager - Marine
We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Marine Team as an Client Manager. This is the perfect role for someone with a strong educational background with ambitions to join an established, market leading insurance broker.
Within this role you will have the opportunity to join our exciting Marine practice, where you will be initially providing administrative support to a team of experts who are selecting and obtaining the best insurance programmes; as well as supporting a team of Client Executives and Brokers on understanding our clients’ business, the challenges they face, their risks, and what value looks like for them.
As you progress through the training programme, you will then be in a position to learn how to advise on the best course of action for our clients’ risk management and work with the Marine broking teams to manage and optimize our value proposition.

We will count on you to:
Arrange for new clients to be set up on our systems, monitor progress of on-boarding/due diligence of clients, intermediaries, and marketsAssist Client Executives and Brokers to set-up and manage the placement in our broking systemPrepare Quotes, Market Reform Contracts and Endorsements (MRCs and MRCEs) using our document templates and adapt these based on information received from our clients and input from the CE/ Broking teams.Review the renewal reports prepared by the Renewal Team and identify any risks that are not required, 90 days ahead of the renewal date.Review and check all documentation for quality and technical accuracy in accordance with Marsh Specialty Procedures, Marsh Compliance Standards & FCA and other regulatory body guidelinesEnsure timely authorisation of documentation, and distribution to markets/client - debit notes, invoices and evidence of cover.Develop and sustain supportive and productive working relationship with both CE/Broker and Policy Servicing teams.Through training, coaching and mentoring have a thorough understanding of all major classes of insurance that we offer our clients and keep abreast of new technical and product developmentsWhat you need to have:
Previous experience within a client/customer facing role, this can be gained from within a similar role or working in environments such as (but not limited to) retail, hospitality, food & beverage etc5 GCSE’s at Grades 9 – 4 (including English & Maths)Right to Work in the UK or Republic of Ireland (no visa sponsorship provided)What makes you stand out:
