Associate Configuration Specialist @DARWIN

ASSOCIATE CONFIGURATION SPECIALIST

The Associate Configuration Specialist (ACS) configures core DarwinTM functionality, simple-medium benefits including unit testing. They configure and schedule standard provider reports, perform simple branding and other simple-medium tasks. They are expected to understand basic concepts of benefits and how these are built on DarwinTM, starting to understand end-to-end benefit administration processes including interfacing. They are responsible for delivering configuration project tasks given to them by more senior members of the team / Pod Leads.

We will count on you to:

1. Core Skills:

Darwin™ Knowledge - It is expected that the Associate Configuration Specialist has basic to mid Darwin™ skills and will spend majority of their time configuring Darwin:

Be able to implement simple to medium requirements by translating them into Darwin Solutions

Be able to design, build and perform unit testing on simple to medium solutions and outbound and inbound interfaces (eg. Payroll report, provider report, automation of reports used internally)

Perform unit testing of all configurations assigned in the time specified on the Work Request / Change Request before releasing it to the stakeholders (internal / external)

Follow quality standards according to quality objectives

Provide support on other projects when needed

Prepare status on UAT issues prior to the UAT client calls and offer configuration input during the calls

Follow up on a regular basis on all projects assigned based on their priority and importance and keep all relevant stakeholders informed

2. Deliverables:

Accountable for ensuring that delivery best practice is followed throughout the project

Perform unit testing of all configuration assigned in the time specified on the Work Request / Change Request before releasing to the stakeholder (internal / external)

Be responsible of assigned work request flow through out its entire life cycle

Deliver assigned tasks according to project RACI matrix distribution

Manage projects by following the internal methodology, with focus on the 'Design & Configuration' phase, by using templates and the process flow described on Confluence

Complete the work on all phases of the project and Pre UAT & Pre Go Live work (windows, test users, checklists, etc.) and actively supports each phase of a project to ensure successful completion

Responsible for performing checks on in-flight projects to review statues / blockers / ensure quality gates are being fulfilled

Perform configuration fixes related to incidents. Proactively follow up and help restore service.

3. Quality management at project level

Responsible for performing checks on in-flight projects to review statues / blockers / ensure quality gates are being fulfilled

Take necessary measures to ensure no configuration incidents happen after Go Live. In case they do occur, proactively follow up and help restore service.

Be able to understand and apply the delivery process within the project team

Respect quality metrics targets according to Objectives

4. Communication management

Ensure stakeholders are informed proactively on work status using available internal tools (JIRA, Zendeks, etc.)

Produce clear actions / minutes from internal configuration meetings and circulate accordingly

Report project status to the Project Lead and Pod Lead on a regular basis to ensure efficient delivery

Flag any capacity issues to the Pod Lead and project stakeholders and help provide an alternative solution in order to deliver on time

5. Growth and development

Be able to perform basic research of any work related topics for projects or meetings using internal tools

Proactively seek opportunities to get involved in different complexity projects in order to demonstrate and develop new and existing skills

Prove responsibility for own development: keep objectives tracker updated, ask 360 feedback from colleagues as agreed with Line Manager, identify new areas of development

What you need to have:

2+ years experience in software development;

Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written in English & Romanian;

Attention to details alongside logical - numerical reasoning;

Technical (Darwin) skills;

Quality Management at project level;

Good understanding of internal processes;

Internal tools usage;

Communication management;

Relationship management;
