Role/ Department: Associate Consultant, Digital Transformation/Digital Modernization Office (DMO)
The Digital Modernization Office (DMO) is the control tower and heart of our digital modernization. The DMO focuses on the high priority, transformative initiatives, drives cross-enterprise coordination and alignment, provides enterprise transparency and directly engages to address critical issues with senior leadership cross-BU; Providing a strategic, independent, unbiased perspective while cultivating a transformation mindset.
The Associate Consultant role is responsible for operational support of strategic portfolio management and special projects across the DMO. Performs research and analysis to inform strategic program decisions and maintain enterprise-wide portfolio and dependency transparency. In addition to supporting strategic ‘special projects’ with senior leadership and cross functional DMO core team. A great opportunity to work with senior BU and technology leadership across the firm in a strategic fast paced environment.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
Support the DMO team in executing “special projects” as part of the Digital Modernization programSupport the Quarterly Business Review (QBR) processes by producing key documentation and deliverables (e.g., meeting materials, meeting minutes, updating data in DMO tools)Support DMO operations, providing ad-hoc support to the Strategy Portfolio ManagementGather data, perform research and analysis to support solving problems and resolving issues working closely with cross functional DMO teamWorking with DMO team to execute priorities for the programMaintain program details and dependencies in DMO, working with IT to design dashboards and visuals for reportingSupport development of high-quality materials and talking points for management group updates, internal communications and high-level readout reportsDelivers a work product with minimal revision.Skills/Qualifications:
Experience in project management role involving senior executivesBackground in data management, data visualization, and dashboard development a plusConceptual knowledge of theories, practices and procedures within program managementApplies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experienceExchanges straightforward information, asks questions and checks for understandingExcellent communicator; both verbal and writtenHighly flexible and adaptable to changeLimited experience in consulting, analysis and change managementAccountable for own contributionsA College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience #LI-Hybrid#LI-GG1
Working Model: Hybrid

Salary Range:
$73,500 - 117,700 USDSalary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
