Your future duties and responsibilities:

· Experience :: 8-14 Years



Works independently under limited supervision and applies knowledge of subject matter in Applications Development. Possess sufficient knowledge and skills to effectively deal with issues, challenges within field of specialization to develop simple applications solutions. Manages the Applications Development sub-function. Typically provides second level management to a group of professionals. The role has short-term operational/tactical responsibilities. Focus is on policy and strategy implementation and control rather than development. May have involvement in regional projects, but as a team member rather than project leader.

• Strong communication, problem-solving and analytical skills
• Deep understanding and practical experience in microservices architectures and containerized environments. 4+ years of professional experience required
• Experience with architecting, building and operating highly automated and containerized Cloud infrastructure. Designing, deploying and maintaining Kubernetes and Docker-based architectures on public (e.g. AWS or Azure) and private clouds (e.g. OpenShifts or Could Foundry) is no secret for you. Relevant certifications in these areas are a plus
• Development and implementation experience with commonly used CI/CD tooling (such as GIT/SVN, Gitlab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) is a must
• Atleast one Professional certification from AWS / GCP / Azure
• Advising our customers on different cloud and hybrid solutions, based on cost implications, performance, and security requirements etc
• Architecting, building, and maintaining cost-efficient, scalable cloud environments for the organization.
• Understanding business objectives of the company and creating cloud-based solutions to facilitate those objectives.
• Assisting customers with installations, configuration and troubleshooting of Cloud applications in: Kubernetes environments (AWS EKS, Azure AKS, OpenShift, Open Source) at hyperscalers (AWS, Azure) as well as on customer premises
• This role requires the ability to both define and explain (i.e. architect), as well as implement and troubleshoot (i.e. engineer), highly-automated (cloud) hosting infrastructure
• Moving archaic systems into the cloud for more efficiency within the organization – aka digital transformation.
• Keeping cloud environments secure and preventing downtime or security breaches.
• Determining the risk associated with third-party platforms or frameworks.
• Looking for ways to improve operations within company to digitize common tasks.
• Designing, building, maintaining internal cloud applications for the organization.
• Transferring data and internal processes to cloud architecture.
• Keeping data leakage and downtime to an absolute minimum.
• Keeping up to date on best practices in cloud computing and making improvements to the cloud infrastructure of their company or organization.
• Communicating with internal teams, like Sales, Operations, and IT.
• Communicate with stakeholders and build applications to meet project needs.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

7+ years of overall work experience
