Associate Continuous Improvement Engineer

We are hiring an Associate Continuous Improvement Engineer in Robbinsville NJ. This position is responsible for identifying, developing, evaluating, and improving processes; creating new opportunities for increased performance; applying improvement methodologies from idea to implementation.

Responsibilities:

Create centerline targets and develop control strategies for optimal operational conditions.Analyze operational data to identify and prioritize losses and lead problem-solving activities with cross-functional teams.Lead production trials to eliminate waste and improve capabilities using lean tools (e.g., PDCA, cause-and-effect analysis).Develop a visual factory through 5S standards, performance metrics, and communication boards as part of the DMS process.Support process development and validation, working closely with GSC personnel to enhance new processes.Analyze processes to identify opportunities for safety, quality, capacity, and productivity improvements.Utilize project management tools to define requirements, track progress, and implement change management strategies.

Qualifications:

Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Candidates with a qualifying bachelor's degree must have a minimum of six months engineering or manufacturing related experience.Understanding of general industrial process and control systems.Working knowledge of basic statistical tools.Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments, deadlines and achieve objectives.Ability to lead cross- functional improvement teams. Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information. Professional certifications and/or licenses with Six Sigma and/or Lean preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

The base salary range for this position is 58,500 to $97,500 annually with eligibility for a 5% annual incentive bonus, that is based on organizational performance. The pay range represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to educations, skills, work experience, certifications, geography etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
