Amazon's Legal Department is looking for a talented attorney to fill the position of Associate Corporate Counsel to support Amazon Web Services (AWS), a dynamic and rapidly growing business within Amazon.com. AWS is at the forefront of the cloud computing and service industry, providing IT infrastructure services such as on-demand compute capacity, storage, content delivery, AI/ML, database services and more. This attorney will primarily support the AWS Industries team and the AWS Strategy and Business Development Team. This candidate will have transactional drafting and negotiation responsibilities on commercial agreements, will provide ongoing legal counsel to business leaders, will advise on regulatory and compliance issues, and will assist with marketing-related activities. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented and will be able to work independently and comfortably while making decisions in ambiguous situations.

Key job responsibilities
- Leading high-stakes, competitive, time-intensive negotiations with enterprise customers
- Evaluating and drafting custom contract terms
- Influencing customers and AWS business teams
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to resolve customer issues and minimize risk to AWS
