Role Overview
The Associate Creative Director is key in supporting the Creative Directors in growing the business through high-quality creative development and execution resulting in new and repeat work. Reliable and highly motivated, the ACD relishes creative guardianship of the highest standard.
You will be responsible for the ideation and execution of a wide range of creative solutions; from IP branding to trailer production, social content, and 360 marketing campaigns.
Your role will combine excellent conceptual thinking with boundary-pushing executions, bringing industry knowledge to every project and leading the efforts of other creative team members too within the department. This requires the ability to provide constructive feedback to colleagues, effectively manage diverse personality types, keeping the team focused during challenging times, and step in when needed.
What You'll Do
A combination of overall creative responsibility, and the opportunity to work alongside the Creative Directors too, giving you the opportunity to lead as well as be lead, growing your knowledge and understanding of both aspects When assuming overall creative responsibility as an ACD, you will shape the Creative Direction for each of your projects leading the creative team and driving the creation of high-quality work that pushes the boundaries of the creative output When working with a Creative Director you will work alongside them to shape the Creative Direction of the project and to help lead the creative team. Together with them you will push the boundaries of strategy, innovation, and informed creative You will undertake client-facing responsibilities to help grow accounts and relationships with both new and existing clients Actively participate in the sourcing and selecting of external talent be that ‘freelance’ or ‘specialist agencies’ - reviewing portfolios and work of said talent On your assigned jobs and alongside a Creative Director at times you will oversee the delivery of creative work from brief to final assets: Work with Ops and Production to define the brief, resourcing and scheduling Throughout the process, identify weaknesses in creative, execution, or resourcing, and proactively find a solution Uphold creative standards within the agency, providing support to other team members as needed Guide and inspire the creatives to develop multiple compelling ideas for client presentation Assist in promoting the work both internally and externally to clients Collaborate with the creative team to supervise the production of final assets Ensure that the final deliverables meet high-quality standards and strive to deliver them on time and in budget as much as possible As the studio grows, you will undertake line management responsibilities of other mid and senior creatives, supporting them on their ICHI journey, providing a clear roadmap, direction and goals in the scope of their role
