About this Marketing Role

The Marketing organization influences decisions by establishing and communicating our full product value proposition across the full value chain, from payers, to health systems, to prescribers, to patients. Marketers are masterful storytellers - accountable to inform positioning using an insight-driven marketing strategy, deliver simple compelling customer-led content creation, and design outstanding integrated customer experiences in partnership with networked partners (e.g. Customer Engagement and Genentech Business Operations). Marketers strategically use resources and their network to drive patient outcomes for today’s innovations, and fuel tomorrow’s breakthroughs.

Key Job Responsibilities

Strategy 

Support analysis of trends and metrics to inform customer strategy development

Assist in the development of omnichannel campaign plans, including creative and key messaging

Content

Supports development of content for marketing campaigns, with a greater emphasis on derivative variants and incorporation of medical, legal, & regulatory review edits and adjustments

Supports customer marketing activities including but not limited to monitoring timelines, content planning calendars, content production coordination, content tagging, and handoffs

Execution

Support the day-to-day operations of the marketing campaign launches and delivery processes

Helps identify opportunities to refine and adjust campaign elements to optimize performance based on real-time data and customer / brand objectives

Assist with maintaining marketing team assets, preparation of presentations, and internal communications 

Contributes to initiatives that have broader organizational impact across the 1Marketing Function and advancing progress towards our CMG outcomes

Follows team direction for work priorities and timelines, and exercises judgment in selecting methods for approaching new projects

Pursues continuous professional development by mastering the latest capabilities and tools in content creation, execution, and analytics

Minimum Candidate Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree 

Excellent organizational skills (attention to detail, handling and prioritization multiple priorities, managing tight timelines)

Strong communication skills, both in writing and through presentation

Ability to connect with people at all levels in a professional and mature manner

Additional Desired Candidate Qualifications & Experience

Previous internship or marketing experience in relevant industries

Experience in executing marketing tactics to drive customer outcomes

Location

This position is based in South San Francisco, CA and offers a hybrid schedule working in the office 3 days per week

Relocation assistance is not available at this time.

 The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of South San Francisco, CA is $106,400 - $197,600 USD Annual.  Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.  This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
