Location: South Plainfield, NJ

This is a hybrid role that requires 3 days on-site.

Responsibilities:

Communicate with customers via phone, email, and live chat in a friendly and professional mannerReview and ensure accurate submission of general inquiry information for order/quote submissionMonitor on time delivery of supported genomics services and provide customers with status updatesFollow Standard Operating Protocol and guidance of supervisorsProvide consultation and troubleshooting for genomics servicesProvide support to related business units and Sales team regarding genomics servicesAssist with creating and completing internal projects to make the team more efficientAdditional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or equivalent years of related experience requiredStrong background in molecular biology is preferredPrior customer service experience is preferredExcellent interpersonal skills; both verbal and written are essentialClosely follow Standard Operating Protocol (SOP)Functions well in a fast paced, customer-oriented environmentAbility to react to situations with a “sense of urgency”
