Your future duties and responsibilities:This position is responsible for supporting the security controls for our client. safeguarding the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our corporate information and data. The candidate will be expected to investigate and remediate issues reported to the Cybersecurity department from other business areas. Reporting to the Cybersecurity Manager, the Associate Cybersecurity Engineer will work closely with IT teams across all threads where security applies.
Key Responsibilities:
• • Investigate and remediate production issues reported to the Cybersecurity department
• Review and improve current processes regarding production support and streamline incident management procedures
• Identify areas where further automation can be implanted, and work with senior team members to implement controls to achieve these objectives
• Collaborate with other members of the Cybersecurity team to provide support and expertise where necessary
.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• 2 years of work experience with incident management and incident response
• Familiarity with ITIL framework for Incident Management
• Familiarity with Active Directory and Azure
• Experience with security application tooling for Cloud, Vulnerability Management, SAML, SSO, and Active Directory
• Experience with programming languages such as PowerShell, Python, Java, and Perl

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $94,400- $165,200.
