Associate Data Analyst
**Associate Data Analyst** As a Data Analyst, you will be crucial to extracting, manipulating, maintaining, and presenting data from various sources to create actionable reports and dashboards. You will be responsible for analyzing data and summarizing findings for business groups across multiple areas, such as operations, sales and finance. This role will require you to solve business problems using data analytics to guide organizational decisions. **Essential Functions** (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable people with disabilities to perform the essential functions.) + Data Extraction and Analysis: Extract, manipulate, and present data in the form of dashboards and reports that aid in business decision-making across departments, ensuring data accuracy and reliability. + Statistical and Analytical Modeling: Use statistical tools and analytical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and insights in data. + Data Visualization: Design and maintain data systems and visualizations (using tools like SQL and Power BI) to ensure clear communication of data trends and actionable insights. + Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders and departments to understand their data needs, acquire necessary data, and ensure that data is organized and formatted for analysis and decision-making. + Data Quality and Reporting: Capture, develop, and document data definitions, business rules, and data quality requirements. + Business Insights: Present complex data in a way that tells a compelling story, empowering decision-makers to chart the best course of action. Create forecasts, reports, and dashboards to support strategic decisions. + Business knowledge: Understand and translate business knowledge and process into data driven and analytical tools. + Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry best practices and methodologies for data analytics, data visualization, and statistical modeling. + Communication: Exhibit strong communication skills, clearly conveying technical concepts to stakeholders across different levels of the organization. + Core Values: Lead by example, living the organization's core values: Care, Commitment, Courage, Drive, Awareness, and Trustworthiness. + Other Responsibilities as Assigned: Contribute to additional tasks and projects as required to support the department and organization. **Competencies** + Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. + Team-Oriented: Ability to collaborate with others, managing time effectively and delivering results with support from supervisors. + Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of data and reports. **Qualifications** **Required Education:** + High School Diploma or GED **Preferred Education:** + Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, or equivalent of experience in related field. **Experience:** + 0-1 year(s) of relevant experience in a data analyst or reporting role or equivalent combination of experience and education. + Experience with PowerBI, Minitab, Excel (Advanced), SQL, and ERPs is beneficial **Travel:** Minimal travel expected. **Direct reports:** None **Indirect reports:** None **Working Environment:** Near the manufacturing floor. Open floorplan **Physical Demands:** Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
