**Job Description**
We are seeking a talented and experienced **Associate Design Specialist** with a background in computer science, web development (front and back-end), and statistics to join our team.
As an Associate Design Specialist, you will play a crucial role in creating innovative application designs that align with user needs and expectations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, create wireframes, and ultimately, deliver high-quality design solutions that align with user needs and expectations.
You’ll also be involved in developing, deploying, and maintaining applications deployed in multiple frameworks to advance operational efficiencies and enhance data capture for future AI development.
**Responsibilities** :
+ Utilize time management skills to deliver successful software product designs within timelines outlined.
+ Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and peers to identify business challenges and present proposed design solutions via high-fidelity wireframes.
+ Work closely with the development team to ensure designs are accurately translated into functional applications.
+ Advocate for user experience best practices and keep up to date with industry trends in UX and UI design
+ Leverage software development lifecycle foundations to design, develop, and deploy web and mobile applications built to solve complex business challenges.
**Requirements** :
+ **Bachelor's degree** or equivalent in a relevant fieldpreferred,
+ **1 - 2 years of relevant experience:** **UX/UI design tools** , particularly **Figma.**
+ Strong understanding of design principles and user-experience design methodologies.
+ Proficiency in frameworks including **Microsoft PowerApps and Microsoft Power Platform**
+ Experience **designing desktop, web and mobile applications** including digital accessibility.
+ Demonstrated creativity in identifying optimized user experiences for customer success in adoption.
+ Computer science background, with expertise in applying these principles to software development lifecycle and application development.
+ Proficiency in programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or similar.
+ Demonstrated skills in agile development with CI/CD fundamentals.
+ Preferred knowledge of technical areas such as Snowflake, Python, Spark, R, Shiny, and Jupyter.
+ Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform architecture.
+ Solid understanding of data management approaches, including relational databases, data schemas, object stores, column stores, and/or document stores.
+ Proven ability to deliver accurate work products in a cross-functional matrix environment, managing multiple competing priorities.
+ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
This position offers a fully remote work arrangement, allowing you to work from home.
Travel requirements for this role are rare, but occasional domestic or international travel may be necessary.
