Associate Developer- Java Application deadline: Workplace: Hybrid Position Job Location: Pasig City, National Capital Region, Philippines Contract Type: Full-Time Employment Type: Regular **Associate Software Developer- Java** _Hybrid- Pasig Office_ **What is the Job all about?** This position is part of the Digital Customer Excellence Value chain, which accounts for ~60% of Grundfos’s annual revenue. We are organized into individual (Scrum) Product Teams, who are empowered to innovate and to support the products in the group. You will be joining the "Customer Identity and Leads Team" (CI&L), one of the 11 Product Teams under IS Sales, Service and Marketing. Each Product Team is strategically positioned to contribute to a wider business value chain. Our team is responsible for customer access as they engage to our water pump products, from gaining product knowledge to buying to customer support. We also deal with customer data for better marketing solutions in compliance with GDPR and Terms and Conditions. Continuous improvement in our products and our team dynamics are always on the move. We take on a positive, respectful, learning, and experimental viewpoint, which we see as key to our ability to innovate as an Agile organization. **Your main responsibilities:** + Develop and implement scalable end-to-end solutions using up-to-date software engineering practices in both backend and frontend development. + Take an active behavior in defining requirements, analyzing, designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting solutions. + Ensure code cleanliness by writing clean code, refactoring, updating, and debugging as needed. + Design innovative software architecture solutions. + Participate in code reviews and provide valuable feedback to peers. + Demonstrate willingness to continuously learn and explore new technologies, domains, and practices, both individually and as part of a team. **Your background:** + Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience + At least 2-3 years of professional experience as Java developer. + Solid experience in the Java platform: Java (7 and 8 or newer version). + Solid experience in front-end framework like JavaScript (ES6+) framework, HTML, CSS, and jQuery. + Knowledge on SQL and DB2. + Good Maven skills, proficient with GIT, and has knowledge on different GIT branching strategies. + Good understanding of REST/SOAP services, APIs, and micro services. + Experience in unit Testing. + Experience or understanding in using C#. + Highly technical, problem solving, conceptual, and communication skills. + Good in English comprehension and communicates well your thoughts. + Experience developing and delivering scalable and maintainable systems end-to-end, from specification, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support. + Experience working with modern software engineering practices such as test driven. development, refactoring, continuous integration and delivery, emergent design, etc. **Understanding or experience in the following is advantageous:** + Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform (e.g., Data Factory, DevOps Services, Functions, Data bricks, etc.) + Continuous Integration, Cloud Technologies, DevOps Culture, and Jenkins Deployment + Websphere, JBoss + SonarQube + Atlassian suite (Confluence, JIRA, Bitbucket) + Working in a Scrum Team + Mobile application development (Android or iOS) **What’s in it for you?** Whether it’s developing skills or advancing your expertise even further, we’ll support you with continuous learning and development opportunities, to help discuss and steer your long-term Grundfos career path.
