2yr or 4yr technical degree preferred, or High School diploma with applicable experience. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.At least 3 years of relevant experienceAs an Associate Development Technician, you will:
Perform complex assembly, testing, and diagnostic analysis on a wide variety of hardware including, but not limited to, propellant and other specialized fluid and gas control valves, cryogenic valves, electromechanical devices, system and support electronics, computer and data acquisition applications, etc.Perform mechanical assembly tasks including the buildup of close tolerance assemblies, the integration of precision components, and the fabrication/installation of electrical assemblies. Working from engineering drawings and informal instructions, develops and applies the methods and tooling required to complete precision assemblies. Uses related mechanical inspection equipment and hydraulic / pneumatic / electrical / electromechanical test equipment to make adjustments and verify final configuration characteristics. Select and frequently create the required tools, fixtures, and test setupsConduct development and acceptance tests, as well as preparation of data summaries and test reports for internal use and customer transmittalAssists other Lab Technicians and cognizant engineering personnel in diagnosing performance problems and in defining design modifications or rework of partsHow we care for you:
