Associate Director, Agency Training & Development

Responsibilities:

Training Strategy Development:

Develop and execute comprehensive training strategy for the agency force, aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. Identify training needs and conduct assessments to determine skill gaps and areas for development within the agency channel. Create a roadmap for training initiatives that address the evolving needs of the agency force and industry trends.

Performance Evaluation and Improvement:

Establish evaluation mechanisms to assess the effectiveness and impact of training programs on agent performance and productivity. Analyze training data, performance metrics, and feedback to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions. Continuously enhance training programs based on evaluation results, industry best practices, and emerging trends.

Stakeholder Collaboration and Management:

Collaborate with agency leaders and stakeholders to align training initiatives with business goals and objectives. Gather feedback and input from agency leaders to ensure training programs meet their specific needs and expectations. Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to promote collaboration, obtain support, and drive engagement in training and development efforts.

Team Leadership and Development:

Lead and manage a team of trainers and learning professionals focused on agency training. Provide guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities to the training team members. Foster a culture of continuous learning, growth, and innovation within the training and development function.

Industry Knowledge and Best Practices:

Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in training and development. Proactively identify innovative approaches and methodologies to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of agency training programs.

Requirements:

 

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree preferred.Prefer 10+ years’ experience in training and development, specifically within the insurance agency or financial services industry.Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training methodologies.Proven track record in designing and delivering effective training programs for agency forces.Excellent leadership and team management skills.Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate training effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including agency leaders and senior management.
