Associate Director, Business Development Non-Acute

**Overview**
Support the strategy to acquire new non-acute healthcare Accreditation & Certification Organizations (A&Co’s) for a regional territory to bring on prospective non-acute healthcare A&Co’s that are interested in our “deemed” services and other Joint Commission offerings. Also responsible for selling the other portfolio items, including Joint Commission Resources consulting services, eProducts, Digital Learning, Publications, CSR Programs and High Reliability. Orchestrate new and organic growth opportunities while fostering strong client relationships that enhance the combined mission that we share regarding patient safety and quality. Help with initiatives to drive overall retention and organization engagement/loyalty of the existing portfolio of A&CO’s.
May be responsible for the following business lines in the non-acute space: Small and Regional Home Care, Hospice, Nursing Care, Assisted Living and Ambulatory settings.
May be responsible for the following business lines in the non-acute space: Small and Regional Behavioral Health Centers, Substance Abuse Centers, Addition Service Centers, etc.
Serve as a conduit between the non-acute healthcare A&Co’s, The Joint Commission and The Joint Commission Resources. Build a deep understanding of current and prospective organizations business goals, challenges, and market dynamics, and tailor solutions that meet each organizations unique needs. Assist with the strategic account planning, relationship building, cross functional collaboration, problem solving, organic growth with an enterprise product portfolio and data analysis and reporting. The annual book of business is greater than $5M. Will be expected to travel up to 50%.
**Responsibilities**
+ Primary contact that serves as the voice of the new/existing non-acute healthcare A&COs within TJC, collaborating with and coordinating efforts across departments such as OQPS, ACO, & Innovations to deliver seamless delivery of solutions while also providing overview reports to Executive Leadership.
+ Execute on the annual business plan, drive revenue growth and mission development growth within the non-acute healthcare organization market, establishing net new locations engagement as well as closing the whitespace within the existing footprint of the non-acute healthcare organization.
+ Support the comprehensive strategy to build non-acute healthcare organization engagement and loyalty, improving retention rates year over year.
+ Drive results and implement the strategic account plans for the group that are aligned with both the new and existing A&CO objectives and the mission driven solutions offered by TJC. Implement the strategies to drive growth, enhance customer satisfaction, and build long-term partnerships and execute on those plans.
+ Build and nurture strong relationships with each organization and engage regularly to understanding the organizations’ internal structure, key decision-makers, and area of opportunity to improve patient safety and quality of care.
+ Identify and respond to issues and concerns brought by organizations promptly. Craft and deploy swift and effective solutions that strengthen our partners confidence in TJCs commitment to their success and shared mission.
+ Leverage knowledge and insights to existing non-acute healthcare A&COs to identify opportunities for deploying new solutions. Propose relevant additions to the organizations current offerings that enhance the joint mission shared related to patient safety and quality of care while continuing to expand access to quality healthcare across the nation.
+ Responsible for developing a strategy that focuses on retention of our Accreditation and Certification Organizations (A&CO’s), implement campaigns that increase engagement and renewed partnership in the shared mission related to delivering safe, high-quality healthcare.
+ Implement the strategy around all our engagement efforts, working throughout the organization and with relevant departments to execute initiatives. Nurture working relationships with our A&COs throughout the contract life cycle.
+ Leverage TJC’s data to gain insights, track progress, measure success, enable evidence-based decision making and identify areas for improvement in our offerings.
+ Provide customer feedback on products, services, or new opportunities to the Innovation team responsible for Standards revisions, additions, exclusions, clinical advances, and customer needs.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree with 7 years of sales experience, preferably in non-acute healthcare space.
+ Proven ability to drive organizational results and elevate customer satisfaction.
+ Proven ability to drive strategic growth and drive long term partnerships with organizations.
+ Must excel in relationship building and having a customer centric mindset.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels within an organization with ability to tailor communications to a specific audience.
+ Salesforce CRM pipeline management and daily administration to track interactions.
