**Job Description**
**_The Position_**
The Commercial Global Digital, Data & Innovation (GDDI) team is at the forefront of advancing Kite’s technology transformation, delivering exceptional healthcare provider experiences through cutting-edge digital products and data-driven insights. You will play a key role in executing Kite’s Commercial technology strategy, expanding Kite’s footprint in new therapies, transforming our core digital product, delivering value-add features, and continually improving our commercial operation.
The primary focus of this role will be Kite Konnect® - Kite’s proprietary commercial cell therapy management platform – which offers an integrated experience to customers through their journey. Kite Konnect® is deployed in 28 Kite markets across 5 continents and has 3500+ users, spanning internal Kite teams, partners, and customers.
This role demands a forward-thinking digital product leader who excels in a dynamic environment, balancing strategic oversight with operational excellence. As the global point of contact for the Kite Konnect product, you will play a critical role in prioritizing demand, optimizing resources, and delivering measurable commercial impact.
This role is based at Kite’s Global HQ in Santa Monica, CA or Gilead’s Global HQ in Foster City, CA - with some travel (up to 15%) to other Kite / Gilead locations as required by the role.

**_The Team_**
The Global Digital, Data & Innovation (GDDI) team is part of Kite’s Global Analytics and Commercial Operations (GACO) organization. This role reports directly to the Senior Director, Commercial – Head of Cell Therapy Technology Ecosystem.
The GDDI team is responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for all digital technologies, data, and analytics solutions utilized by Kite’s Commercial function and its customers. GDDI works collaboratively across the enterprise—including Commercial, TechOps, R&D, IT, Legal, Compliance, and other key stakeholders—to deliver these capability roadmaps. Initiatives range from multi-year digital transformations to the ongoing enhancement of Commercial technologies delivered through an agile framework.
**_Your Responsibilities_**
This is a hands-on leadership role that will evolve in line with Kite’s Commercial operation. Core responsibilities:
+ Play a global product leadership role. Contributing to the global vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Kite Konnect® ecosystem for assigned digital products.
+ Lead business engagement across Kite’s enterprise business units (including Commercial, TechOps, Clinical Operations). Work to ensure Kite Konnect® global strategy aligns with local needs, and respond to Voice of Customer (VoC) / Voice of Process (VoP).
+ Develop business cases and leverage global prioritization framework to increase ROI and optimize resource allocation.
+ Execute the Kite Konnect® roadmap in partnership with cross functional delivery teams (IT, Quality Engineering etc.).
+ Work on multiple initiatives concurrently including: Digital Transformation, Commercial Launch & Geographic Expansion, Continual Service Improvement and Incremental Platform Enhancement.
+ Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, gather insights, and offer strategic recommendations to inform Kite Konnect® product roadmap.
+ Execute change management / communication plans and lead cross-enterprise communities of practices to increase adoption, standardized ways-of-working, and best practice sharing.
+ Oversee operational service delivery; proactively identify and implement continual service improvements to enhance quality of service and user experience.
+ Facilitate ideation and prototyping of innovations to enhance Kite Konnect® features and user experience.
+ Monitor and report on product success, value realization and user adoption through agreed key performance indicators (KPI).
+ Ensure maintenance of Kite Konnect® documentation and knowledge base to facilitate information sharing across globally distributed teams.
+ Proactively identify operational risks related to Kite Konnect®. Develop and implement mitigation strategies that improve reliability of Kite business operations and ensure regulatory compliance.
+ Occasional business travel (up to 15%) to other Kite / Gilead locations – domestic and international - as required by the role.
**Basic Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology or related field and 10+ years of relevant business experience OR
+ Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology or related field and 8+ years of relevant business experience OR
+ Ph.D. in Business, Marketing, Information Technology or related field and 0+ years of relevant business experience
**_Preferred Qualifications_**
+ Experience in life sciences – with focus on commercial operations and digital technology.
+ In-depth understanding of the global healthcare environment and local / country level differentiation.
+ Business analysis expertise – including eliciting business requirements, workshop facilitation, user acceptance testing, business change and communications.
+ Experience developing business cases and growing sponsorship for investment proposals.
+ Analytical toolkit – with experience conducting market research and competitive analysis.
+ Experience executing and leading digital technology products and programs of varying complexity.
+ Experience in operational performance management and continual service improvement.
+ Experience working with Commercial platforms including Salesforce, Veeva, SAP, Oracle EBS, AWS etc.
+ Expert problem-solving skills and experience working in rapidly evolving and ambiguous environments.
+ Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
+ Ability to build relationships and engage with diverse, and globally distributed stakeholders.
+ Outstanding organizational and time management skills – demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently.
+ A motivated self-starter with a commitment to continuous learning.
+ Adaptability to work in a dynamic and fast-moving environment.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ A Master's in a relevant field, such as Business, Healthcare, or Information Technology, is preferred.
+ Relevant certifications in project management (agile / waterfall), change management and related fields.
+ Willingness to travel up to 15% (Domestic / International).

The salary range for this position is: $165,495.00 - $214,170.00. Kite considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
