How you will make history here…

As the Associate Director, Distinctive Brands Commercialization at Campbell's, you will be at the forefront of our product development and commercialization efforts. You will own highly complex projects, focused on improvement and high-impact initiatives across categories, and be responsible for coaching and guiding cross-functional teams throughout their development. Your role will involve project management of 1-3 critical Big Bet projects, leading Category Portfolio Reviews (CPRs), Gate reviews, and prioritization processes.  You will also manage CPLs, Senior CPLs, and Category Commercialization Managers, driving strategic thinking across our portfolio and contributing to the development of our strategic plans for Supply Chain and Business. This role also serves as the Commercialization liaison to various integration activities. As this key POC you will partner in the creation of best practices related to Innovation Execution and ultimately be responsible for deployment of the WoW.


What you will do…

•    Project Ownership: Take ownership of highly complex projects, focus on improvement and high-impact initiatives within and across categories, and coach cross-functional teams for development.
•    Meeting Ownership: Lead Category Portfolio Reviews (CPRs), Gate reviews, and prioritization processes to ensure projects align with business goals and timelines.
•    Leadership/Influence: help craft the “growth approach” to commercialization using communication discipline & continuity and overall risk assessments that build risk tolerance

•    Team Management: Manage a team of CPLs, Senior CPLs, and/or Category Commercialization Managers, providing guidance and support to achieve project success.
•    Strategic Thinking: Drive strategic thinking across the portfolio, making decisions on trade-offs and challenging the status quo to optimize outcomes.
•    Strategic Plan Contribution: Contribute to the development of strategic plans for Supply Chain and Business, leveraging your expertise in commercialization.
•    Interdependency Mitigation: Identify and drive mitigation strategies for interdependencies and conflicts between projects, ensuring smooth project execution and meeting Category goals.
•    Commercialization Expertise: Act as the Supply Chain commercialization expert within your category, utilizing proficient/advanced business and financial acumen to drive commercialization trade-offs and CPR discussions, applying theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios.
•    Integration Responsibilities: Responsible for Commercialization system adoption by new business unit/team members. Ultimately responsible for deployment of identified best practices WoW
•    Experience: Bring project management experience to the table, complemented by some experience in CGP manufacturing.

This location has a hybrid work schedule; Mondays and Fridays are remote and Tuesdays thru Thursdays are onsite.

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between 

$150,200-$216,000

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
