What is the opportunity?
The Associate Director, Dealer Relations & Industry Liaison will be responsible for managing and building strong relationships between RBCIS and the dealer community in Canada on behalf of our clients to win as One RBC. This role is a key influencer and point of contact, problem resolution for Shareholder Services. This role brings significant industry technical expertise and a deep working knowledge of all client activities and touch points across all key stakeholders.
What will you do?
Participate in and influence industry working groups (i.e. IFIC, Fundserv etc) to increase the profile in Canada and gain competitive advantage for RBCI&TS and our clients.In collaboration with the Shareholder Services Senior Management Team, will be accountable to bring significant knowledge of industry/market trendsA key part of this role is to ensure dealer satisfaction by promoting a high degree of confidence in RBC IS and our clients so that we are deemed the preferred choice and easy to conduct business with, resulting in increased market share and profitability.Organize Dealer Visits, Dealer Surveys and initiatives to increase automation.What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Understanding of investment industry, dealers and clients requirements and trendsKnowledge of regulatory requirements in the Investment Industry 7 years + of progressive financial services experienceExperienced in Issues escalation and resolution which includes the ability to solve complex issuesNice-to-have
