Role Overview 

 

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Technical Delivery Manager to oversee the delivery of our Discover Product Line features, enablers and services. This role requires ensuring high-quality outcomes that meet our division’s requirements and also includes coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines and budgets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of cloud technologies, data management, marketplace dynamics, and agile project management practices. 

 

What will you do in this role: 

 

Lead the planning and execution of Discover Data Marketplace initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations. 

Collaborate with data providers, data consumers, and internal teams to define the requirements, scope, and deliverables. 

Architecture Development: Contribute to the development of solution architectures within specific business, infrastructure, or functional areas to ensure that strategic objectives are met. 

Develop and maintain JIRA boards, schedules, and resource allocations to ensure timely delivery. 

Monitor progress, assess risks, and implement mitigation strategies as necessary. 

Facilitate communication across teams, including data engineering, analytics, sales, and marketing, to ensure effective collaboration. 

Ensure compliance with data governance policies and industry regulations regarding data privacy and security. 

Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, providing regular updates and soliciting feedback to enhance the Data Marketplace experience. 

Analyze performance metrics and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous enhancement of the marketplace. 

Mentor and coach team members in best practices related to project management, data governance, and marketplace operations. 

Team Leadership: Guide a team of software designers and developers, overseeing the design, coding, verification, testing, documentation, modification, and refactoring of complex programs, scripts, and integration software services. 

Application Design Oversight: Lead the design of moderately complex software applications or components, providing direction to ensure alignment with project goals and requirements. 

Technical Leadership: Assume technical responsibility for all phases and iterations of software development, ensuring that high-quality solutions are delivered to meet business needs. 

Configuration Management: Manage the design, verification, documentation, modification, and refactoring of complex software configurations for deployment, with a focus on scalability and performance optimization. 

Systems Testing: Serve as the technical expert, supporting the configuration of system components and equipment for effective systems testing, and ensuring thorough validation of functionalities. 

What Should you have: 

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus. 

Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management or delivery management, with a focus on data-related projects or data marketplaces. 

Strong understanding of data management principles, data architecture, and data governance. 

Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex, high-stakes projects. 

Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Asana). 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset. 

Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and best practices in data security is preferred. 

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus. 

A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in full-stack development, quality assurance, systems integration, and IT infrastructure. 

Demonstrated experience in leading engineering teams, showcasing strong management and interpersonal skills. 

Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively interfacing with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

A passion for innovation and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement in software engineering practices. 

Ability to collaborate with global virtual teams and navigate multiple cross-functional teams.
