What You Will Get To Do:

Manage multiple client engagements, including supervision of various client service teams ensuring meeting of all client deliverablesManage performance of direct reports. Provide feedback in appraisal and guidance to staff career developmentDeliver accurate and timely work product within specified deliverables timelines, and in coordination with the vice president and other team membersDemonstrate strong knowledge of accounting, specifically with respect to alternative investment funds, with a focus on Private Markets.Review all transaction documentation and supporting files, and understand the features of the investment transactions, accruals, etc.Review work paper files for accuracy and completeness, including capital activity, investment activity, income and expense accruals, valuation adjustments, etc.Review management fee calculations, including, management fee waiver contributions, etc.Review investor allocations and capital account statementsReview capital call and distribution calculations, sources/uses of cash, allocations, and investor noticesUpdate and review distribution waterfall (carried interest) models, in keeping with the applicable fund termsProvide guidance, training and developing Team membersSupport corporate goals and business/departmental initiatives

What You Will Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field7+ years’ experience in accounting, with a focus on alternative investments fundsExperience preparing and reviewing general ledgers, work papers and financial statementsDeadline oriented with ability to complete assigned tasks independently.Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to multi-taskExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with advanced Excel skillsExcellent problem solving and analytical skillsSignificant mutual fund or investment accounting experienceThorough understanding of US and international investment characteristics is required in both common and exotics
