Role Overview
As the GenAI Engineering Leader, you will be driven by a passion for developing innovative generative AI software solutions that create a meaningful impact. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring that our applications and systems meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency, and leverage effective use of generative AI.
What will you do in this role:
Team Leadership: Guide a team of software designers and developers and AI engineers, overseeing the design, coding, verification, testing, documentation, modification, and refactoring of complex programs, scripts, and integration software services.
Collaboration: Foster teamwork in designing components for larger software systems, encouraging collaboration and knowledge sharing among team members along with working with teams throughout the globe.
Technical Leadership: Assume technical responsibility for all phases and iterations of software development, ensuring that high-quality solutions are delivered to meet business needs.
Configuration Management: Manage the design, verification, documentation, modification, and refactoring of complex software configurations for deployment, with a focus on scalability and performance optimization.
Systems Testing: Serve as the technical expert, supporting the configuration of system components and equipment for effective systems testing, and ensuring thorough validation of functionalities.
Lifecycle Management Collaboration: Work with stakeholders involved in ongoing systems and software lifecycle management to select, adopt, and adapt best practices. Support the establishment of effective environments and processes for lifecycle management.
Architecture Development: Work with multiple architecture teams and contribute to the development of solution architectures within specific business, infrastructure, or functional areas to ensure that strategic objectives are met.
What Should you have:
A minimum of 7+ years of experience in roles of increasing responsibility beginning with code-level/engineer/data science roles and culminating in an organization leadership role.
A bachelor degree or higher in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or a related field.
Proven experience in software development, with a strong understanding of design methodologies and architectural patterns.
Knowledgeable in the foundational competencies of Generative AI
Demonstrated experience in leading engineering teams, displaying strong management and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively interfacing with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A passion for innovation and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement in software engineering practices.
Ability to collaborate with global virtual teams and navigate multiple cross-functional teams.
