Job Responsibilities :

As the Associate Director of Global Esports Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing Razer’s esports marketing vision. In this highly strategic, creative, and execution-focused position, you’ll be responsible for crafting, building, and deploying comprehensive marketing campaigns and activations designed to elevate the Team Razer brand within the global esports ecosystem. Reporting to the Director of Global Esports, you’ll work with talented teams to oversee innovative campaigns from concept to completion, and spearhead impactful activations that drive brand engagement. Your role demands high agency, creativity, and strategic insight to pioneer fresh approaches and establish Razer as a leader in esports.

Duties & Responsibilities

Campaign Strategy, Development, and Execution:

Develop and lead innovative marketing campaigns and activations from scratch, owning every aspect from strategy and concept to execution, to maximize brand impact within the esports community.Utilize creativity and data-driven insights to design groundbreaking marketing initiatives and activations that differentiate Team Razer and foster a unique brand presence.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that campaigns and activations align with Razer’s global objectives and are integrated seamlessly across platforms and regions.

Activation Planning and Management:

Design, plan, and execute high-impact activations around key esports events and competitions, ensuring memorable experiences that resonate with fans and reinforce Razer’s brand values.Manage the logistics, budgeting, and on-site execution of live and digital activations, coordinating with partners, venues, and vendors to ensure smooth operations.Innovate with experiential marketing tactics to create immersive activations that captivate audiences, driving brand engagement and creating lasting impressions.

Content Strategy and Innovation:

Design and execute content strategies that complement live and digital activations, creating a cohesive narrative that resonates with esports fans.Explore and implement new content formats and storytelling approaches that keep Razer at the forefront of industry trends and captivate a global audience.Work closely with the content and design teams to ensure that campaign and activation messaging is Razer brand, consistent, engaging, and optimized for various platforms.

Team Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and develop the Global Esports team fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and excellence.Provide guidance and performance feedback, empowering team members to excel in content creation, project management, and campaign execution.Inspire team members to think outside the box and encourage forward-thinking approaches to both marketing campaigns and activations.Establish and maintain relationships with pro players, teams, and influencers to showcase Razer’s esports products and expand the brand’s reach within the competitive gaming ecosystem.

Project Ownership and Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Drive cross-functional collaborations with product, marketing, and regional esports teams to ensure cohesive strategies that integrate esports content and activations across all channels.Take full ownership of global esports projects, including the management of resources, timelines, and budgets to meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives.Lead partnership initiatives that amplify Razer’s presence within the esports industry, including co-branded activations, sponsorships, and collaborations with esports events.

Performance Analytics and Competitor Benchmarking:

Use analytics tools to measure and analyze campaign and activation performance, audience engagement, and growth, adjusting strategies based on data-driven insights.Conduct regular competitor benchmarking to identify trends, innovative activation ideas, and opportunities for differentiation, positioning Razer as a leader in esports marketing.Prepare and present performance reports to senior management, showcasing the impact of campaigns and activations, and advising on future strategies.

Extensive experience in esports marketing, campaign strategy, and activation management, with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns and activations that showcase creativity and impact.Proven leadership skills, with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams in fast-paced, creative environments.Deep understanding of the esports landscape, including major titles, teams, players, and tournaments, with a passion for pushing esports marketing boundaries.Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt tone and messaging for diverse platforms and target audiences.Strong strategic mindset with the ability to use data and insights to drive decisions, refine campaigns, and enhance activations.Proficiency with content management systems, social media platforms, and analytics tools to manage and measure campaigns and activations effectively.Willingness to travel to esports events, collaborate with esports talent, and engage with the community to ensure authentic representation of the Razer brand.

Salary Ranges (per annum):

$102,910.00 - $171,517.00
