General Description:
Lead and manage health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) programs to ensure quality and time deliverables to support BeiGene’s solid tumour portfolio.Generate and disseminate scientific evidence to support reimbursement submissions and commercialization in the EU and in key markets across LATAM, MENA, and Eastern Europe, and inform payers/patients/healthcare providers/policy-makers on the value propositions for our products.Work closely with cross-functional teams by providing HEOR leadership and input to support timely and broad patient access for BeiGene products in the region.Essential Functions of the job:
Design and conduct HEOR/RWE studies to ensure timely quantitative understanding of economic, humanistic and clinical burden of disease, real world unmet needs and outcomes to support product launch and commercialisation.Develop the HEOR/RWE evidence generation plan and formulate recommended strategies in support of product value proposition.Serve as project lead on HEOR/RWE research projects. Author and review protocols, reports, and other study documents with independent, critical thinking to ensure quality and completeness of output, oversees timelines for deliverables associated with analysis, reporting, and publication.Localise HEOR tools and deliverables, including localization of cost effectiveness/budget impact models and dossiers.Keep abreast of the trends in HEOR and RWE across Europe and key countries in the New Markets, and proactively anticipate any risks or changes in strategy in collaboration with local teams.Collaborate and communicate with internal cross-functional partners (i.e. market access, commercial, medical, clinical development) and external KOLs.Represent BeiGene at appropriate scientific, medical and payer meetings.Manage external vendors across HEOR projects, and use best efforts to complete work with available budget.Reports To: Director, Head of HEOR, Europe and New Markets
Education Required:
Advanced degree in Health Economics, Outcomes Research, Pharmacoeconomics, Epidemiology, Health Services Research or related discipline is required (PhD, MS, MPH).At least 4 years of related experience in the pharmaceutical industry, and minimum of 7 years in the design and implementation of health economic modelling, real world database analysis, or outcomes research studies.Computer Skills: PC literacy required; MSOffice skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Veeva)
Other Qualifications:
Strong HEOR background and ability to design, plan, and conduct HEOR studies with hands-on experience with health economic models, real-world datasets, SLRs, ITCs, and outcomes research.Knowledge of EU, LATAM, MENA, and Eastern Europe healthcare systems and understanding of HTA and reimbursement system in key countries in the region.Previous experience in HTA and reimbursement submissions in the region is a significant advantage.Ability to work in a cross-functional matrix team environment and effectively communicate relevant HEOR strategies, evidence, and study outputs.Highly organized and self-motivated with ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects, determine and meet project objectives, timelines, and budget.Proven ability to drive results at a high level of quality as a strategic and creative thinker/leader.Impactful oral and written communication skills and presentation skills.Travel: Work related travel approximately 25-30%
