Manage the strategic and tactical planning and implementation of all clinical and administrative information technology services, activities, and performance of technology tools for the Student Health Center (both at Washington Square and Brooklyn and support select information technology needs at multiple global sites). Oversee a strategic and comprehensive information security program that defines, develops, maintains, and implements policies and processes that enable effective information security practices. Elevate a culture of cyber security to minimize risk and ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information that is owned, controlled, and processed within the Student Health Center and in collaboration with NYU Information Technology Services.
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in information technology, information systems, computer science, or relevant field.
Preferred Education:
Master's Degree in information technology, information systems, computer science, or a relevant field.
Required Experience:
7+ years of relevant professional level experience or equivalent combination. Must include experience managing computing and information infrastructure services in a local area network and cloud platforms such Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure, strong command of Citrix systems and related technologies and relational databases such as SQL. Experience with endpoint management tools (Intune, BigFix, JAMF, Workspace, Ivanti). Experience with Active Directory. Ability to budget projections, team leadership, building client relations, planning, developing, and implementing policies, procedures, and projects; and supervising staff. Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical staff, management, and senior leadership.
Preferred Experience:
10+ years of overall relevant experience in information technology capacity. Experience in a management position in a health care delivery environment, leading a cyber security program in a healthcare setting, integrating database and web applications, working in a Windows environment, ETL development and tools (i.e., DBT, Airflows, Qlik/Attunity, Mulesoft), and with cloud based products (i.e., Snowflake, Tableau, Databricks). 5+ years Previous management experience with increasing responsibility and scope.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, interpersonal, problem-solving and time management skills. Proven leadership in managing teams. Demonstrated ability to integrate computing needs of disparate departments into a coherent, secure, encompassing data processing environment. Knowledge of programming, MS Office suite, and Windows operating systems. Knowledge of current network and desktop operating systems and emerging technologies. Extensive knowledge of the IT field and ability to align IT activities with business goals. Skill in managing IT service management systems. Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure. Project management skills.

Certifications: CISSP, AWS Solutions Architect. Programming skills in: SQL, Python, Javascript, HTML, CSS, powershell

Additional InformationIn compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $145,000.00 to USD $185,000.00.
