About the Role

Lead the Corporate Solutions AML team to perform full range of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) / Counter-Financing Terrorism (CFT) related activities for ensuring that the operations are complying with statutory, regulatory and internal requirements.

Responsibilities:

AML/CTF assessment on pension / group insurance business

Perform AML/CFT risk assessment andComment on the CDD/EDD reviews of customer onboarding, high risk customers and triggering events conducted by business linesReview sanction parties, PEP and adverse media related exceptionsInvestigate suspicious transaction alerts generated by systemConduct periodic compliance assurance checksPrepare suspicious transaction reporting to internal / external partiesConduct internal AML/CFT trainingProvide AML/CFT advisory to business stakeholders in daily operationsPrepare internal/external reports to senior management, regulators, tax authority and Head OfficeParticipate in ad-hoc tasks/projects as assigned

Governance and control

Act as a team leader to supervisor the 1.5 line of defense for AML and RA13Develop and implement an effective AML/CFT compliance frameworkConduct reviews for the enhancement of the AML/CFT functionWork with internal governance team on different governance and control activities including annual review, audit and guideline settingOrganize and lead the regular meeting with sales, operations and other second line departments for resolving issues, improve understanding, and ultimately for the improvement of the process involving CDD and TMStay informed the latest compliance and AML/CFT regulatory requirements, industry trends and any emerging technologies related AML risks and seamless integration of AML solutions with existing infrastructure

Requirements:

University graduate, preferably major in business related subject or equivalentAt least 10 years of relevant experience, preferably with corporate banking experience and AML/CFT knowledgeCompliance or Internal Control Experience on SFC RA13 or other regulated activitiesRelevant qualification in CAMS, Associate AML Professional (AAMLP)/ Certified AML Professional (CAMLP) will be an advantageStrong Analytical ability, problem solving and communication skillsGood leadership skillsProficient in both spoken & written English & ChineseExperience in setting the strategic priorities is preferredAbility to understand business issues, and collaborated closely optimally with various departments;Exceptional organisation and motivational skills, including attention to detailGreat teammate and willing to go extra mile to enable team success
