Associate Director, IQVIA Participant Payments (ADIPP)
The Associate Director, IQVIA Participant Payments (ADIPP) is responsible for directing a professional team of IQVIA Participant Payments Managers and Leads to support the IQVIA Participant Payments (IPP) organization. The ADIPP ensures initiatives are appropriately resourced, employees are trained, and objectives are met. The ADIPP works with senior leadership in formulating effective goals and objectives for the Patient Solutions organization and assures operational alignment with organizational priorities. The ADIPP will introduce and lead changes in internal business processes and serve as an expert resource to the business at all levels. This role requires minimal oversight from senior management.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
Manage staff in accordance with organization’s policies and applicable regulations. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work. Evaluate and provide feedback on team performance, while offering guidance for professional development and growth.Proficiency in managing employee performance, including administration of rewards and disciplinary actions.Distribute resources for the Patient Solutions Initiatives by matching staff to their roles based on their experience and training.Manage the quality of assigned staff's work through regular review and evaluation of work product. This review may include review of written materials, soliciting internal and external customer feedback, and review of project assignment completion.Direct the hiring and selection process of new Patient Solution Operations positions, by participating in the interviewing process.Ensure that staff is meeting defined workload, quality and budget metrics through regular review and reporting of findings as outlined by senior management.Accountable for facilitating internal and external collaboration in project management oversight including the development and review of SOPs, procedures, and compliance documents, etc.Accountable for overseeing third-party vendor to ensure timely fulfillment of deliverables and addressing any issues related to third-party software and other related matters.Support senior management with driving key initiatives and developing and implementing strategies to improve the IQVIA Patient Solutions organization.Provide Senior Management with timely departmental updates including: KPIs and other related metrics; relationship updates with internal stakeholders; and departmental updates.In conjunction with Manager/Sr. Manager of IQVIA Participant Payments, ensure that staff has the proper materials, systems access, and training to complete job responsibilities; provide oversight for the execution of the training plan, SOP review and training experiences, as applicable.Identify quality risks and issues and create appropriate corrective action plans.May collaborate with other regional and/or global teams on initiatives.Participate in corporate or organizational quality or process improvement initiatives.Minimum Required Experience & Education
Experience
5-7 Years of prior experience with global participant payments, clinical trial payments, and/or other payment processingRequires practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects, and tactics within one department or multiple related departments.Continuous improvement leadership applying the elements of lean / operational excellence.Program and project management experience: track record of effectively planning and tightly managing the scope and life cycle of a project, while balancing multi-stakeholders.Extensive experience working with global cross-functional management teams and successful relationship-building with clients, colleagues, and leaders.Successful history of managing in-depth project activities, with the ability to influence others to accept and adopt new practices and approaches.Excellent communication / presentation skills using various sources of presentation media. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with executives and garner levels of credibility.Ability to excel in an environment where change management is critical to success.Prior pharmaceutical/Life Sciences experience preferred.Complex problem-solving abilities with focus on accomplishing company goals and objectives, in a dynamic business environment.Education

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $101,600.00 - $188,600.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
