About the Role
Provide in depth policy, economic and market research to facilitate optimal portfolio management and TAA decision making, as well as to support investment analysis for all front office investment departments.Roles and Responsibilities:
Provide in depth macro analysis on longer term trends, shorter-term macroeconomic outlook and insights into macro policy settings with timely update to the CIO, senior management and all investment departments, in order to facilitate overall investment results.Provide fundamental, quantitative, and strategic analysis of public market asset classes in order to facilitate ALM and SAA & budget setting, including but not limited to interest rate, equity and foreign exchange rate analysis and sub asset class strategies.Responsible for producing/coordinating investment return assumptions for budgeting and be the centre point of LTIRA review and coordinator for AMC.Provide inputs to all front office team investment process particularly in regards to macro analysis and outlook.Recommend on TAA tilt and handle related process.Regular macro and market research write up and internal sharing.Champion of all the presentation support required by the distribution channels, including but limited to investment philosophy, portfolio management process and future investment outlook, and be on the road for such presentationComplete other tasks assigned by Head of Portfolio Management.Minimum Job Requirements:
Degree in Economic or Finance (Economic preferred), with seasoned experience (5-10Y+) as macro analyst.Master or PhD preferred. CFA preferredProficiency in MS Office and other economic application softwareStrong analytical and decision-making skillAccountable, efficient, focus, detail oriented, and able to work under pressureGreat team playerProficiency in spoken and written English in order to effectively communicate with multiple stakeholdersBuild a career with us as we help our customers and the community live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.
